ABOUT US

During the challenging times of lockdown in 2020, The Baker Street Belles emerged as a close harmony trio born out of a simple desire to sing.

Coming together through Zoom to share their love for music and each other's company, these three talented women found solace and joy in making music together. Their first lockdown recordings, shared on social media, quickly gained popularity, sparking a wave of support from fans near and far.

As restrictions eased, The Baker Street Belles stepped onto local stages, enchanting audiences with their beautiful voices and infectious camaraderie. With a regular spot at The White Lion Pub and a growing list of bookings for various events, this trio continues to captivate listeners with their harmonious melodies and uplifting performances.

    Grace

Grace is a passionate multi-instrumentalist – no not a one woman band although she does love a good tambourine – based in Liverpool.

Having shown a love of music through dance and then singing and piano Grace has continued to nurture this love into a successful career.

After completing her Degree in Music at The University of Liverpool, she put down roots in the fabulous city and has never left.

Grace runs her own successful private music tuition business, community choirs as well as specialising in GCSE and A Level performance tuition in voice.

Singing with other people, which started with her family on long car journeys, has always been a big part of the enjoyment and she is super excited to work the other Baker Street Belles on some brilliant arrangements.

    Kate

Kate has been singing for as long as she can remember. In her teens she trained as a classical singer whilst completing a degree in English Language and Linguistics at The University of Sheffield.

She’s still particularly fond of singing Handel or Bach but now spends a lot of time singing other genres too.

As a child, Kate used to listen to Danny Kaye on cassette and loved The Andrews Sisters’ vocals in ‘Civilization’ starting an early love of harmonising with other voices.

She is now a sought after voice coach, singing teacher and academic, working internationally with a myriad of wonderful voices and teachers.

Kate founded the local non-audition community choir, MicWire, who have raised thousands of pounds for charity since 2017 by performing regularly. She loves to write simple but catchy harmonies for them to sing.

    Vicky

Vicky’s passion for singing runs in the family; her dad was a professional singer for many years in Merseyside and he always encouraged Vicky to follow her dreams of one day treading the boards too.

At the age of 16 she left her hometown of Stoke to train professionally in musical theatre at the prestigious Urdang Academy in London.

Vicky returned to her roots and has since carved a career in the arts across Staffordshire and Cheshire delivering dance and musical theatre workshops in schools and performing in numerous roles with renowned companies Re-Stoke, Art Brasil, Curtain Call Productions, Newcastle Operatic Society, Broadway Bound and Stage Productions.

Vicky is the proud owner of Musical Moments North Staffordshire and Cheshire, delivering interactive music sessions in care homes and within community settings for the elderly and those with additional needs/disabilities.

Aside to singing with The Baker Street Belles, Vicky is a soloist under the name of Belle Aria, singing at weddings, private functions and events across the North West.

Music is her life and nothing makes her happier than sharing her passion for performing with others. She’s hoping that her musical genes have been passed down to her young daughter!
